These are contentious times. Our leader spreads the Word through fear and repression. He crushes our spirit and our voices. We are being monitored, and people are disappearing. So we choose to stay silent or risk the consequences of speaking.

Even Ugo, a shining star under the previous regime, can no longer spread his sharp, incisive wit and searingly humorous commentary. With the looming spectre of starvation and torture hanging over him, he is beginning his descent in to the icy depths of Hell.
